No. Whitehaven invests in the future value of your case. If you lose your case, unlike a loan, Whitehaven collects nothing and you do not have to pay any interest on the advance.

How long does funding take?

After submitting your application we contact your lawyer and request documents that aid us in determining how much money to advance. Our underwiting department reviews these in one to two business days. After that, you can have your money overnight, wire transferred the same day, or even picked up at our office in New York City. The quicker you authorize your lawyer to release documents, the quicker you have your money.

Whitehaven is non-recourse funding. This means that if your case loses and you collect no money, neither do we. There is no recourse against you and we will not try to collect the money from you. The cash we advance to you is yours to keep.
